Thank you for this response — it’s so powerful to frame our activism in terms of supporting our family who didn’t make it. We suffer so thoroughly at the hands of systems that aim for our erasure… I think sexism is the next frontier, for sexist logics not only target effeminacy but also structure what counts as knowledge… I find that objectivity is masculinized and therefore privileged and subjectivity is feminized and therefore devalued. Our world is sick if we can’t take emotions seriously, and nor will our wounds be given reality until this happens. I stand with you as a grounded sissy who aims to help make this world better by naming, understanding, and challenging structural justifications of oppressions 🙏🏼
